Establishing a workout routine can be easy and fun. All you have to do is find what you like and what works for you. I made a checklist of essential work out items I think everyone needs for a beneficial fitness routine. Check it out!

Dumbbells

I will never stop telling people how much my results changed once I added dumbbells to my routine. Adding extra weight for strength training into your workouts will not only make you stronger by building muscle but will also speed up your metabolism for more fat burning, and give you great definition in your arms and chest. Use dumbbells in leg exercises and lighter ones during cardio. Work smarter not harder!

Reusable Water Bottle

Having a reusable water bottle is a must for me. It is important to stay hydrated during your workouts by taking small sips through out. Not to mention, you can use it through out the day, not just when working out. I take my water bottle with me EVERYWHERE. I really like these aluminum bottles because they keep my water cold, they are sturdy, and not to mention the awesome design choices. Invest in a reusable water bottle!

Good Shoes

It is important to make sure you are working out with good shoes to protect your joints. Especially if you have flat feet, like me. One workout with bad shoes could lead to days of pain and discomfort. Amazon has a lot of different options and for a great price. I highly suggest buying a couple pairs to alternate through out the week.

Tops with a Message

I love workout tanks with a positive message. It sets your mood right once you put it on and also helps push you when you begin to get tired mid workout. If you are struggling with keeping your momentum going with your workouts try buying a couple of these tanks, I bet it will help!
